Mortgage rates head LOWER

According to the Triangle Business Journal long term mortgage rates declined this week and four weeks of increases. A 30 year fixed rate averaged 4.8% last week down from 4.91%. This decrease is attributed to low inflation according to the chief economist at Freddie Mac.

Waterfront home prices DROP

Waterfront home prices drop to 2003 levels in the Wilmington and surrounding beach areas.

According to Star News homes on the Intracoastal, ocean and river are being sold for 40-50% less than in 2006 bringing the values down to 2003 levels.
